Berry is a lovely dark bay mare who is a Huckleberry Bey granddaughter and *Bask great-granddaughter. Her blue ribbon bloodlines give her great potential as a future brood mare. An easy keeper she gets along extremely well within even a changing herd and seems to develop an easy confidence with other herd members. Her maternal instincts would make her a great “Auntie” to youngsters and a great mother to future offspring. She is currently being ridden with English hunt saddle and snaffle for her flat and arena work and western with a bosal for her horsemanship and trail outings. She has enjoyed learning in a clinic setting a good number of her natural horsemanship and bosal hackamore skills. Friendly and intelligent she requires at least an intermediate rider to keep her brain and body engaged and responsive or she sometimes will use her superior smarts to her own advantage.
